OBJECTIVE
Acquire knowledge of marine biology in terms of ecosystem-sensitive marine and sub-marine resource farming.
PROVISIONAL PROGRAM
• Study the distribution of marine species in terms of oceanographic criteria (light, salinity, oxygenation)
- Identify the impact of lunar activity on eco-systems
- Measure populations and analyse their development
- Study species, anatomy, physiology, behaviour and migration.
- Reproduce organisms in laboratory conditions: micro-algae, seed, larvae…
Throughout the year, the students will learn undersea diving. a group apprenticeship will be organised at the end of the program. During this apprenticeship, in collaboration with the University of Tenerife, they will use their diving skills to carry out observations, measurements and take samples. This data will then be taken back to the laboratory for analysis.
ACADEMIC SUBJECTS INCLUDED
