The Bac Pro (Rural Community Care) SAPAT is open to students who have completed the 4th year and is a 3 year a qualification course for multi-skilled operatives able to function as:
- Care providers in all contexts for disadvantaged members of the population (young children, old aged pensioners, disabled people…) at home or in dedicated establishments
- Agents for social cohesion and mediation
- Agents for communication, management and organisation of establishments or their own companies
- Agents for the promotion of local activities and tourism through the management of projects and initiatives
OUR EXTRAS
- Overseas apprenticeships:
- Humanitarian aid work in Africa or Madagascar (4 weeks)
- Apprenticeship in Denmark through the European Leonardo program (3 weeks)
- Apprenticeship in a European holiday village (3 weeks)

- Accompaniment of the student in their career choices
- The BAFA foundation course (Monitor Aptitude Certificate) is included in the program
Over the three years the students will also prepare for the TOEIC Bridge test which will be taken during the final year: this is an English language test which evaluates the students' written and spoken comprehension in a professional environment

Community Care specialisation or Rural Areas and Activities specialisation
Through:
- 2 specific modules "Looking after the aged" or "Tourism"
- as well as apprenticeships in either Community Care or Rural Areas and Activities
- professional initiatives in Community Care or Rural Areas and Activities
THE PROGRAM
- Practical courses for the technical gestures which will be required during the apprenticeships
- Theoretical courses on how to understand care needs, propose and organise services, be aware of available resources (establishments…)
- Rural initiatives to learn about autonomy and show an ability to organise and manage
- General courses to reinforce knowledge of the basic subjects and improve self-confidence
- Field trips to structures and meetings with professionals

APPRENTICESHIPS
During the First year: 6 weeks
- In structures associated with the care environment: children, old aged pensioners (entertainment, catering, cleaning and laundry, …)
- During the 2nd and final years: 16 weeks
- 4 to 8 weeks in the community care sector: children (0-6years), disadvantaged persons (ill, disabled and dependent aged persons…)
